Why the Need for a CorFlush Unit?
There is truly only one method of quality maintenance for an actuator and/or gearbox. That is removing all the old grease, impurities, residues, water, dirt, sand, and metal shavings from the interior of the unit. Only new lubricant can extend the life of its gear and bearings. Until now, this method could only be accomplished by removing the actuator/gearbox from its valve, taking it to a shop to be disassembled, placed in a vat and all its grease and lubricant removed. During the time, the technician could examine and assess the internal parts and decide if repairs were needed prior to reassembly and return to service. This can be costly downtime! The CorFlush System is the solution! An actuator and gearbox maintenance process unit that:
- Flushes a variety of actuators and gearboxes in-line without removal from service
- Will maintenance multiple actuators/gearboxes per day
- When the waste tank is emptied you can observe residual wear from gears, drive nuts, bearings, seal, sand, water, etc
- Removes all residues, water, dirt, metal shavings, and hardened grease; allowing lubrication replacement for extended life of your actuator/gearbox
A Variety of CorFlush Units to Fit Your Needs
CorFlush Systems has a variety of models to meet your needs.
- Model TTSF can be easily moved from one location to another and has three separate tanks: clean, circulation, and waste.
- Model STSF was designed to flush the 90 degree gearboxes located underneath the fans on the cooling towers at all powerplants.
- Model STDF contains the same utilities and functions as Model TTSF, but has the potential to cut time and save the customer money. Instead of three separate tanks, it possesses one 60 gallon circulation tank. The clean tank and waste tank are large totes which are separate during the flushing process.
- Model FBSF is a single flush unit that is an inclusive system supplying its own electric power as well as its own air pressure for operating the flushing unit.

Mobility
There are 495,000 miles of pipeline, 3,109 oil storage facilities, 137 refineries, 517 gas plants, 210 natural gas pipeline systems, as well as various other "field" areas scattered throughout the U.S. alone. As of December 31, 2020, there were about 11,070 utility-scale electric power plants producing power for the United States. Since CorFlush is the only flushing unit of its type in existence, it is necessary that it be available in a "mobile field unit". Either truck or trailer mounted versions guarantee the ability to maintenance and service gearboxes and actuators no matter where they may be located.
Most mechanic trucks come equipped with air compressors and sometimes power generators which provide the necessary power and air for a CorFlush "truck model". For areas where additional pieces of equipment are needed in the mechanic truck, a trailer-mounted unit becomes its own self-contained CorFlush Trailer Unit and can be positioned in place by valve headers and isolated header stations located on some lonely gravel road in the middle of nowhere. It will always be ready to be moved to new locations as the job requires.
